Description
Boodles’ pet-friendly essential oil candle features a handmade design crafted from only the finest ingredients.
We use EcoCoco Wax, a 100% natural blend of coconut wax. We chose not to use the more popular soy wax because the soybean industry contributes to significant deforestation and greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, soybeans are often grown with pesticides.
Coconut wax stands out as one of the most sustainable waxes available. It burns cleanly, producing no soot and releasing no harmful chemicals into the air. Plus, it contains no genetically modified ingredients, is biodegradable, and is vegan-friendly.
Some candles can harm your dog. Many emit toxic substances and chemicals that can affect both humans and dogs. We all inhale these toxins, which can enter our bloodstream. Unfortunately, candle manufacturers don’t face strict regulations, so they aren’t required to disclose all ingredients. Boodles’ candles remain safe for you and your dog to enjoy together. We use natural EcoCoco wax and carefully select the best essential oils to help both you and your dog relax.
We source our essential oils from the UK, and every time we sell 24 candles, we partner with Ecologi to plant a tree. By investing in tree-planting initiatives around the world, we aim to restore balance and happiness to our planet.
Our candles feature scents that help both dog and owner stay centred, calm, and relaxed:

We offer three pet-friendly essential oil candle options. Here’s a glimpse into the amazing properties of the essential oils in each candle.
We also offer our candles in 2 sizes 4oz and 8oz
Frankincense, Myrrh, and Cedarwood Candle
Cedarwood’s earthy aroma soothes and grounds the mind, making it ideal for stressed and tired individuals. Frankincense carries a woody, spicy scent that deodorises your home while providing soothing, balancing, and relaxing effects that rejuvenate both mind and body. It may also aid lung circulation and assist in treating asthma, sinusitis, and bronchitis. Myrrh essential oil helps relieve colds, congestion, coughs, bronchitis, and phlegm. Its sedative scent can elevate your mood, promote feelings of grounding, and encourage spiritual awakening.
Lavender Candle
Lavender has a long history of medicinal use and is known for its anticonvulsant, antidepressant, anxiolytic, sedative, and calming properties.
Bergamot & Tangerine Candle
Bergamot provides a unique aromatic experience, uplifting the senses while relaxing the mind. It helps alleviate stress and anxiety, creating a feel-good atmosphere. Tangerine essential oil is believed to open the heart, dispel sadness, nervousness, and anxiety. While it relaxes some people, it energizes others, warding off melancholy. Ancient folk recipes suggest that tangerine essential oil boosts optimism, charm, and self-confidence, helping to restore one’s aura after serious illness or emotional stress.

Tips for the best burn :)
Always burn the candle on a level surface where you can see it, away from drafts and other objects. Please ensure the candle is placed on a fire retardant surface. Keep it away from drafts and other flammable items such as curtains or furniture to prevent fire. Always keep the candle within sight, never leave it unattended, and extinguish it before leaving a room or going to sleep. For your first candle burn, we highly recommend trimming the wick and burning the candle for at least 1.5 hours. This practice helps the melt pool reach all edges of the candle and prevents tunnelling. Tunnelling creates an unwanted effect where the wax doesn’t fully melt, leaving a ‘tunnel’ running down the center of the candle. Always trim the top of the wick with a wick trimmer before each lighting. Please try not to burn your candle for an extended period, such as more than four hours without trimming the wick. This prevents the flame from getting too big and ensures you get the best results from your candle. Discontinue use when there is ½ inch of wax left in a container. Also, replace the lid when the candle is not in use to preserve the oils and prevent evaporation.
