Boodles Pet friendly essential oil candle is handmade with only the best ingredients.

We use EcoCoco Wax a 100% natural blend of coconut wax. We have decided not to use the more popular Soy wax as the soybean industry contributes to massive deforestation and greenhouse gas emissions. Soybeans are also grown using pesticides.

Coconut wax is one of the most sustainable waxes available. Coconut wax is classified as a clean-burning wax. That means that it doesn’t produce soot or release harmful chemicals into the air. It also contains no genetically modified ingredients, it is biodegradable and also vegan friendly.

Some candles can be bad for your dog. Many candles emit nasty toxins and chemicals into the air. These toxins can be harmful to both humans and dogs. We both breathe these nasties into our bodies and they pass into our bloodstream. Unfortunately candles aren’t regulated and companies are not required to list all the ingredients used. Boodles candles are safe for both you and your dog to enjoy together. We use natural EcoCoco wax and select the best essential oils carefully in order to help both you and your dog relax together.

Boodles use essential oils that are handmade and bottled in the UK. Our essential oils have teamed up with Ecologi so with every 24 candles sold Ecologi will plant a tree. By investing in tree planting schemes all over the world we hope to bring balance back to our world and restore its happiness.

Tips for the best burn :)

Always burn the candle on a level surface within sight, out of drafts and away from other objects. On your first candle burn, we highly recommend that you trim your wick and burn the candle for at least 3 hours. This allows the melt pool to reach all edges of the candle and avoids tunnelling. Tunnelling is not what you want for your candle as it means you’re not using up enough wax and you end up with a ‘tunnel’ effect running down the centre of your candle. Always trim the top of your wick with a wick trimmer between each light. This stops the flame from getting too big and will ensure you get the best results from your candle.

Use the lid of the candle container as a coaster when burning as this will protect any sensitive surfaces from the heat. Please also replace the lid when not in use, this will preserve the oils from evaporation.
